Sara Marks
Sara has taught in our preschool since 2018 and shifted to the Preschool Director role in 2019. She grew up in Brazil, IN. She leads our preschool program as the Director and one of the lead teachers. Sara enjoys painting, spending time with her family, and coming up with ways to encourage her boys to explore the world around them. Sara lives with her husband, Abel, and their two young boys, Eli and Wyatt.

I taught K-12 special education for 13 years. This summer I will begin working on an early childhood leadership graduate certificate at Indiana State University. I look forward to serving the staff and students at MTP and helping them develop and grow.
I am married to Craig and we have two children, Ivy and Harlan, who keep us active.

Jessica Walls
Jessica has been with MTP Preschool for 4 years. She graduated with her Early Childhood Education degree in 2014. She has always had a passion for teaching and a love for learning. Jessica has two black labs, Moose and Rufus. She is married to a fireman, Mike, and they have one son, Lukas.

Kelly Grainger
Kelly joined our Preschool staff fall 2023. She serves in Kidz Connection with MTP's children's ministry. Her favorite bible story is the Good Samaritan, and her favorite Bible verse is Ephesians 4:32. She began as a substitute and has moved into a lead teacher role.

I am looking forward to helping and watching your child bloom into a beautiful/handsome butterfly. I am a mom of 3 kids. What brought me to MTP Preschool is my desire to inspire and use my creativity for the littles.

Beth Winters
I’m excited to be with the PreK class this year! I love working with children, helping them learn and experience new things. I’m a mom of 4 kids: Jed, Katie, Sadie and Heidi. I enjoy teaching, and taught second grade at Eastside Christian Academy for two years, as well as homeschooling my kids in the past. I love gardening and animals. We have 2 dogs, 7 cats, and 4 rabbits.

I am married to an Army Sergeant and firefighter and we have three kids: Marlena, Emmalyn and Jonah. I look forward to watching all the littles grow and learn!

Jenna Neufeglise
I am a graduate from Ivy Tech Community College representing the class of 2022 with an Associates degree in early childhood education. This will be my first year teaching at Mount Pleasant preschool as an extended care provider. I have also served at Maryland Community Church on Sundays as well as small group child care and I have assisted my mom at a daycare she has had in her home.

Nicole Turley
I have attended and been employed at MTP Church as a custodian since October 2022. I also work in the preschool Extended Care and serve as a substitute teacher. My family and I have been members of the church since January 2023. I love plants and crafting. I live with my husband, Eric, my grandson, Anthony, and my 4 dogs.

Ricky Meissel-Beard
I volunteer at Maryland Community Church with kids ministry in the pre-K area. I also volunteer in the pre-K class at Fuqua Elementary where I read to them, play with them and help them during lunch. At my church I pray with the kids during prayer times and I play games with them. I also help them in small group time after the Bible story. I have one fur-baby boy named Max. I have a lovely honey bear I talk about all the time. I am excited to hang out with these awesome blessed kids.
